FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I have to join both organizations?
Yes; membership in CFDA is only available with combined membership in NFDA (and vice versa).
How much is membership dues?
Annual dues is determined by the total number of cases handled by your funeral establishment (and affiliated branches) during the 2016 calendar year, not counting those filed while acting as an agent on behalf another funeral establishment.

Combined membership dues includes two elements:
  • CFDA Dues = Base fee (in tiers based on cumulative case volume) plus a multiplier of 0.15 cents per case
  • NFDA Dues = Base fee (in tiers based on cumulative case volume) plus a multiplier of 0.85 cents per case

Where do I send the application and dues?
Combined dues is submitted directly to the Colorado Funeral Directors Association in one payment. Please mail check payable to "CFDA" to P.O. Box 631664, Highlands Ranch, CO 80163-1664.

CFDA will collect and send all membership information and dues to NFDA in February.
