Town Hall Meeting

Wednesday, November 8, 2017
11:30 am to 4:00 pm

In 2017, the Colorado Funeral Directors Association launched its Blueprint 2020 initiative to develop a strategic plan for modifying the association’s organizational structure, adopting a unified mission, and constructing a new model for CFDA by the year 2020.

CFDA leaders have been considering new membership models that represent all aspects of the funeral service profession in Colorado, and exploring ways to unite the many individuals and businesses that play a part in providing death care services.

The 2017 Town Hall Meeting will examine proposed models to create a diverse and collaborative organization and engage participants in focused discussions to design a structure and adopt plans to achieve our Blueprint 2020 mission.

Individuals who provide death care services in Colorado – funeral directors, embalmers and cremationists; preneed counselors; owners, managers and employees of funeral homes, care centers, cemeteries, crematories, transportation and escort services, and more - are invited and strongly encouraged to take part in this Town Hall Meeting.

Be a catalyst for strength, diversity, innovation and respect for funeral service in Colorado.

Please register online before November 3 to reserve your seat at this exclusive forum.

Invest your time and attention to make a difference in the future of the profession:
  • Engage with fellow professionals, colleagues and potential partners;
  • Examine proposed models and collaboration strategies;
  • Share your innovative ideas and solutions; and
  • Unify the funeral service community in Colorado.

Meeting Location

The Town Hall Meeting will be held in the Auditorium at the Mountain West Dental Institute, located in the Beauvallon building at 9th Avenue and Lincoln Street in Denver, Colorado.

Free parking is available in two (2) separate retail garages within the Beauvallon building. Both garages are accessed from Lincoln Street between 9th and 10th Avenues (the north and south garages are not connected).

Parking is available in all numbered spaces (without additional Reserved signage) on a first-come, first-served basis. Garages come up quickly after you cross 9th Avenue and both have left lane entrances.
